How we build fair value

TCG Atlas estimates Pokémon TCG market ranges from eligible public, licensed and user-enabled market signals. Coverage varies by card, language, region and source. Sold/closed-sale signals are weighted where available and permitted; ask-side and shop signals are treated as weaker liquidity indicators. Where the sample allows, outliers and single-seller spikes are trimmed. A confidence score travels with the number so you can tell a thin sample apart from a deep one.

• Public marketplaces. Large consumer marketplaces in the US, EU and Asia where end-buyer transactions are observable. Sold-listing data is used where available and permitted.
• Dealer shops. Established online card shops with public catalogs and stable pricing. Used as ask-side reference and liquidity signal.
• Price aggregators. Public price-history providers used as cross-check and backfill.
• Official catalog feeds. Scryfall (Magic: The Gathering) and TCGdex (Pokémon) for canonical card metadata, under their respective open data terms.

Every spread you see is net of fees. The model accounts for marketplace commission, payment-processor fees and typical shipping for the region in which a listing sits. Gross spreads are never shown as headlines.

Where we reference a source by name, it is solely to identify the origin of a number. Named price sources currently include: eBay Inc.'s marketplaces (via the official eBay Browse API under eBay's developer terms), Cardmarket, JustTCG (licensed US reference prices), PriceCharting, and various regional card dealers. TCG Atlas aggregates and displays publicly available or otherwise permitted market information — including asking prices, sold signals where available, and links to original listings — from third-party marketplaces and dealer shops. This supports fee-aware comparison and market intelligence; it is not an offer to sell on our platform.

Shop, marketplace and brand names appear only to identify the origin of a price or listing. That referential use does not imply partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, or that we operate those venues.

We do not remove lawful price references or dealer attributions merely because a shop prefers not to appear. If you believe specific content is unlawful (for example trademark use beyond identification, or incorrect attribution), contact us with a substantiated explanation and we will review it under applicable law.
